Off And Running

The Kentucky Derby is right around the corner. The appropriate attire for the Derby is dressy casual, and women most often wear hats and dresses. Many of you know how troublesome hat and dress shopping can be.Yet, in the midst of the uneasiness, you find joy. You began to think about all the time you will spend with friends over finger foods and drinks as you watch the horse race, and then a smile appears on your face. I really like the hat tradition. It reminds me of the Victorian period and the hats the women wore during that time. So, just apply the ideas I provided below, put on a nice dress and add some accessories, and you are good to go.

April Showers Bring May flowers

I really enjoy the rain. It is soothing. Nothing compares to being indoors while it is raining hard.I especially like glancing out the window to watch the hues of the sky change. I usually find myself curled up with a blanket and a hot cup of soup while I watch the rain. The scent of rain seems to linger long after a shower.It is refreshing and pleasant. Tinted Moisturizer

Summer is almost here and chances are you will be spending a lot more time outdoors. Sometimes the type of activity you engage in while outdoors doesn't require the extensive coverage foundation provides. In cases like this, I recommend tinted moisturizer. Tinted moisturizer provides minimum coverage and can even be used with blot powder to create a great, simple look. I have tried Elf's tinted moisturizer and must say, for $3 it is pretty good. I use my tinted moisturizer with blot powder,lip stain and eye liner to create a look for the day. I think this is a great product to wear to the beach or a outdoor party.

It's Time To Flip Your Tassel And Toss Your Cap

The time has come for you to rejoice over all the hard work you put in over the years. As you you pick up your cap and gown, you think about the new adventures that await you and a sense of excitement over takes you.Suddenly, you realize you have several tasks to carry out, which includes finding something to wear to your graduation ceremony.

Unless you are attending a graduation ceremony in the winter, you will most certainly want to wear something that is lightweight. A majority of people tend to graduate in the late spring or summer.As a result, you can expect to spend a lot of time taking pictures outdoors.With that being said, you want to wear something that you are comfortable in. I suggest you find a dress that fits good.The dress will fit under the gown perfectly.Try not to wear anything that is too fussy or extravagant. As for shoes, pick a pair that will not torture your feet.If you can handle wearing heels for long hours, go for it.If not, I suggest wearing a kitten heel or flats. The time of the ceremony may also influence the dress you choose. For evening or night ceremonies you may opt for a nicer dress as opposed to picking a casual one because you may go out to dinner after the ceremony.Morning ceremonies just require a casual dress.If you decide to wear a skirt, make sure it is shorter than your gown and go for a top that is simple, yet snazzy. Remember to enjoy the moment!
