Here are some more of my favorites from NY fashion week 2011.
I like how Marc Jacobs started the show. It was unusual. I like the hues of yellow and blue in his collection.
Herve Leger added a twist to his staple design.
Rachel Roy's collection consists mostly of floral prints and casual pieces.
Micheal Kors collection consists mostly of neutral tones and bold prints.

Favorites From NY Fashion Week
The selections I made have two things in common: feminine cuts and soft fabrics.
I like the slits on the dresses.
The floral prints are lovely.
The yellow neon dress is my favorite.
I fell in love with the blue off the shoulder dress.

Celebrate Good Times
It seems like every time I receive an update from a friend, I hear someone is either pregnant or getting married. As you know, bridal and baby showers usually occur after those type of announcements. Many of us are then left with the task of finding something to wear to the shower. Unless you are told to dress casual, I would opt for a nice dress and a pair of pumps. As I see it, you will be sitting a majority of the time, so you might as well wear a fabulous pair of heels. Check out my selections below.

Zalando - Wishlist for August
Hi ladies and gents, I haven't posted in a while. I apologize for the lack of posts. As you know, August has arrived and summer is almost over. It's almost time to put away the swimsuits and pull out the sweaters. I plan to enjoy every last minute of summer.I even picked out a few pieces of clothing and accessories to ensure I am chic as I live out the final month of summer. I decided to pick my clothing from Zalando.
The url is http://www.zalando.co.uk/ . The company is based in the United Kingdom. First off, the site carries women and men apparel, accessories, beauty products and specialized athletic shoes. The clothing is trendy and affordable, and best of all, shipping is free. The site carries such popular brands as French Connection, Guess, Hello Kitty, Converse, Reebok, Nike, Timberland, Dolce &Gabbana, Espirt and Levi's, to name a few.Unfortunately, the company only ships to countries in Europe. I highly encourage my international followers to check out the website, browse through the selections and get additional information about which countries Zalando ships to. Last, take a look at my selections below.
My Zalando Wishlist
1. vero-moda-lone-t-shirtsshort-sleeve-pinkThis blouse is adorable. I like how the fabric drapes in the front of the blouse.I think it comes in two other colors. It will look great with a pair of skinny jeans or a pencil skirt.
2. /french-connection-leah-maxi-dress-beigeMaxi dresses are extremely comfortable and can be worn with flats or wedges.I like the slit and the tie at the waist. The dress even has a crisscross back.

The ruching on the side creates a better fit. The buttons are a nice addition to the skirt.I would wear this with a long sleeve blouse and a pair of stilettos.
Depending on where you work, this skirt can be worn to the office with a blazer and cami, or paired with a sexy blouse for a date.
This sweater dress is a fantastic shade of brown that will look great with a pair of taupe ankle booties.
These orange heels are very versatile. They look great with just about anything. I would wear them with skirts, skinny jeans, dresses, leggings and shorts. The detailing on the shoe is gorgeous.
Brown heels are a great accessory to add to any wardrobe. I think the peep toe is such a classic cut. These shoes can go with a cocktail dress or a pair of jeans.
Pretty in pink. These pumps are gorgeous. I like the multicolor platform, the buckle and the heal. I like sling backs. They often remind me of the 1950s.
Cocktail Dresses
This form-fitting dress is ideal for a night out on the town. The fabric is wonderful.
This green drape dress is exquisite. I like the fact that one strap of the dress is made of sheer fabric.
This pink strapless dress is sophisticated. The folding of the fabric at the waist is a great design.

This is similar to the pink strapless dress. Dresses with detailing at the waist help accentuate your figure. The neutral color is a plus because neutrals go with pretty much every color of the rainbow.

Collaboration
Many of you may have heard this by now, but I decided to share it anyways. Versace and H&M will work together to create a clothing line that will be available this fall and they will also create an additional clothing line for spring 2012. I can't wait to see the collections.
