Product Review: Mane 'n Tail

 I suffered from dry and damaged hair. As a result, several months ago I was on the hunt for a conditioner to restore health and shine to my hair. I stumbled upon Mane 'N Tail at my local drug store and decided to try it. The product has a creamy texture and a citrus scent. The scent is not overbearing. After using the product for a month, I realized my hair was a lot stronger than it was before I started using the product. The more I continued to use the product, the more my hair improved. My hair was thin and dry from all the damage it experienced. The product also restored moisture to my hair and my hair had a lot more body than it usually does. Overall I like Mane 'N Tail and recommend to any one with the same problems I once had. I plan to post a video about the product and discuss in more detail.

Well, I created four looks to give you ideas of what to wear while you spend time with your loved one. Whether it is a casual event, a formal event or a semi-formal event, you can make sure you look your best. For the first look, I paired a bold top with a pair of pants. That same top can go with a fitted skirt. A bold top will turn a plain outfit into an adorable outfit. A bold top is also versatile, and will look great with a pair of pants or a skirt for a romantic date. A cocktail dress and a nice pair of pumps makeup the second look.A cocktail dress is a great choice for a Valentine's Day event. You can pick a simple cocktail dress and make your look more chic by adding accessories or pick a cocktail dress that stands out more. Pick a dress silhouette that you like if you decide to wear a dress. I know many people do not like the form-fitting cocktail dress.A formal dress is the third look. This dress will be great to wear to the opera or any other snazzy event your lover has planned. And remember, accessories can add life to any dull look.

Revlon Product Review

I purchased some Revlon products form the store recently.I got one mineral color stay lip glaze in forever fig, I got another mineral color stay lip glaze in timeless nude and one metallic nail polish in gold coin.First off, the color stay lip glazes last for hours. Also, both of the lip glazes that I purchased have an opaque finish.The lip glaze feels creamy when applied to the lips and does not over dry the lips, at all. As for smell, they smell like bubble gum.I really like the metallic nail polish.It shimmers when the light hits it. I think this shade is perfect for the holidays, and I could definitely see myself wearing this color throughout the entire year. Watch my review below..

New Lip Smacker Flavors May Require a Glass of Milk

Lip Smacker has paired up with the Girl Scouts of the USA to create a cookie lip balm collection. The 

 five flavors that will be sold in stores are: Trefoils, Thin Mints, Tagalongs, Do-si-dos and Samoas.

OPI Pirates of the Caribbean Nail Color

As many of you may know, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has been released in theaters in the US. OPI has created several nail colors and a shatter polish in honor of the release of Pirates of the Caribbean. I  believe you can buy these special edition OPI nail colors wherever OPI products are typically sold. So, if any of you are looking to embark on your own sea adventure, I suggest you try these nail colors. My favorites from the collection are Mermaid's Tears and Planks A Lot.I included the tote in the post because I think it is adorable.

Tinted Moisturizer

Summer is almost here and chances are you will be spending a lot more time outdoors. Sometimes the type of activity you engage in while outdoors doesn't require the extensive coverage foundation provides. In cases like this, I recommend tinted moisturizer. Tinted moisturizer provides minimum coverage and can even be used with blot powder to create a great, simple look. I have tried Elf's tinted moisturizer and must say, for $3 it is pretty good. I use my tinted moisturizer with blot powder,lip stain and eye liner to create a look for the day. I think this is a great product to wear to the beach or a outdoor party.

I meant to do this earlier in the month, but better late than never.This month is Earth Month, so I decided to do a post about organic beauty products, clothes and shoes.There are so many benefits associated with using organic products. Not only are we benefiting ourselves and our overall well being, but we help preserve the environment. Have any of you gone completely green? Or, have you partially committed  to a green lifestyle? Maybe you drive a hybrid vehicle or recycle. As I see it, every small effort is good. I want to go over a few products that help with makeup application and setting. I recommend eye primer and
makeup setting spray.The makeup setting spray is a great way to hold makeup in place. After spending all that time applying your makeup, it can be bothersome to have to deal with fading. This spray holds blush, eye shadow, foundation and concealer in place. Also, some sprays lasts for up to 16 hours.  This eye lid primer makes eye shadow last longer and helps minimize cracking.

Lip Color , Talon Nails, and Shatter Polish

Shatter polish is very edgy and makes nail polish more appealing by adding some definition. Try OPI's shatter polish if you want to achieve the look. Talon nails are durable and are said to be reusable. So, if you like long nails, but have a hard time growing your nails long, try talon nails. As for lip color, pink is very popular this season, especially hot pink. Here are some tips for picking the right shade of pink for your complexion: light complexions should go with light and warm pinks, medium complexions should wear dark pinks and dark complexions should go with brown based lip colors.

I would go with a light blue eye shadow, pink or nude lip color, and a little blush on the cheeks.I created a look with E.L.F. blush in Mellow Muave from the Studio collection and E.L.F. lip gloss in Pink Kiss.I'll post pictures of the final result.
